about... I am not a bonehead. My point and question is this and simply this, what are some good work at home ideas. If my husband was reliable in the first place, I'd have a house to take or ok credit. I HAVE BEEN TO COUNSELING. He won't go our problems areVERY private nature but 2 therapists have agreed that these differences DEFINITELY count as irreconcilable. ANd as for the "remote mountain village " it is remote in size and population but is 20 minutes from a larger town and only an hour from LA not in timbuktu. If the situation was healthy for my kids I would stay regardless, but it is not. Again, what I am looking for is work at home ideas that would require a computer, and good people skills and/or a phone. I don't want something that is going to require any commuting. And my kids are well adjusted, bright kids that are loved VERY MUCH.

I know you don't want to have to leave the home, but you could get you Real Estate license and you could schedule appts around your children. I used to look for computer/stay home jobs and had no luck. With you Real Estate License you can come and go as you please and make enough money for you and your kids.
I hope this help you, good luck

Well, you certainly made it sound like your husband was all perfect except for being unreliable in your last question. Now you are saying you have it all figured out and he is not someone you or your children should be around. This is very weird. However, if all of this new information is true, you need to take classes so you can make a living for you and your children. Unless you or the kids are in danger of being hurt, I would stay with him until you are on your feet financially and educationally so you can leave with the kids. Good luck.

Education and proper training is the key!
First enroll in some courses be on your feet and then take up the challange. In the meanwhile you can try the real estate license as marry jane suggested as a stop gap arrangement.

Good Luck

you are indeed in a quandary .
you can run but you can't hide --- at least not forever --- you will have to take a bit of initiative for your kids at least --- you will have to acquire the skills to handle your life so much better ; be resilient and be a survivor --- you can do it without all the trimmings --- you are not ' Robinson Crusoe ' good luck .
