Bush will never be what Barry Sanders was. He is a different kind of back. I don't think he will ever get nearly as many carries as Barry had. Bush is good but has been hyped to a level that he does not deserve yet. Barry played for really bad Lions teams and that undoubtedly hurt him. It looks like Bush will have good Saints teams to play on, which should benefit him a great deal. If McAllister stays healthy, this Saints team can use Bush effectively for many years to come.

Only in his and USC fan's dreams. He really isn't anything that special. He is a running back. Barry Sanders was something special and it is an insult to compare them based on this year. Let's see Bush dance behind an O line for 10-15 seconds so he can still get some yards. Heck let's see him play with a terrible line and actually do something.

Reggie will be awesome in this league (some day); however, L.T. has been a lot of fun since leaving TCU and starting for the Chargers.
At some point in time, L.T. shall pass the torch to Reggie as the top back in the league; but not for at least a few more years.
However, Reggie in action is exciting to watch!

Damn dude..... Youre comparing him to Barry Sanders??
Isnt that a bit much?
And as a bleeding Giants fan, i can simply say that he played against an injured, mediocre defense on Sunday. My 5 yr old wouldve looked good rushing against the Giants on Sunday.
To compare him after 15 games to a 10 year career of Barry Sanders is stupid and unfair.

Put Reggie Bush in the AFC and then watch him try to run the ball. I'm not saying he's not a good back, he just hasn't played any challenging defenses. Line him up against the Chargers, Ravens or Patriots and we'll judge him then. Actually, we'll probably find out in the Super Bowl.

I'll enjoy Reggie Bush more when he's not running against the Giants. Reggie and Deuce made the Giants front seven look really bad.

Idk why you're all jumping on him for comparing him to Barry, all he said was the most fun to watch since Barry, which literally means Barry was more fun to watch if you knew english. Either way, yes, Reggie is the Most fun to watch since Barry, and I can see why you would make that comparison because they play very similar styles of football, they are both outside the tackles cut on a dime make you miss players. So to answer your question yes, and someday he will be better than Barry because Barry got tired of playing and quit, although you cant blame him id quit if i was stuck playing for the Lions too

Yes. I doubt he will run for as many yards as Barry Sanders did though. He will catch a lot more passes out of the backfield though.

Not really. Bush is a slightly better than average back at this point in his career. Nothing special so far.
