Yes. But it's a argument about blood pressure between the two. I hate to have to step in to mediate this problem. I used to do this kind of UN peacekeeping mission for them all the time over really stupid stuff, like chicks, money, hobbies, free will, those kinds of irrelevant considerations. But now we're getting just a tad bit older and seeing things with much more focus. When you're older and you realize death is looking you directly in the face, you forget about the b.s. and you start thinking with what little brain you have left. My heart-mind battles led to nothing of worthwhile import; like bad girlfriends, they just wasted my precious time.
As long as you can afford the luxury of contemplating "heavier" issues, go right ahead and fight the good fight between heart and mind. I'm more than happy to leave the battlefield to the younger folk.

I say there are 3 things you check with.........2 have to agree.
your heart/emotions
your head/intellect
your gut/intuition
if you gut, or tummy is sick about it, it's prob not a good idea
if your heart says go, and your head says go that's good,
but make sure your gut/tummy says yes too!
then no battle, it's a 2/3's majority!
that's what it takes in the senate! LOL
good luck, and what is your battle.
general rule of thumb, check your
head, heart, and gut.
2/3 is prettty good odds, 1/3 is NO and 3/3 is a go for it!
no doubts on 3 out of 3 in agreement.
but if it's my head and heart, i have to check with my gut instinct.
and go with that to break the tie.

No I made them a deal they cant refuse, I told my head if it did not stop fighting with my heart I would cut it off, and I told my heart if it did not stop fighting with my head I would cut it out. So inevitably they both came to a truce and now they think as one or they will make me very angry. ha ha And I sit them down for a time out in front of the tube and we watch " The Meaning of Life" Monty Python. ha ha

Yes. The heart will tell you one thing and your head based on logic will tell you otherwise. They contradict each other and it causes unrest in us and gives us no peace. Whenever this situation arises, I follow my heart.
