I found an insect in my house that I thought to be a leaf. I tried to nudge it but it did not move. I continued to observe it with a maginfing glass and noticed that centipied like head potrued from one end and then the other. Only the head is centipied like and the body is clear with no legs. What I thought to be a leaf appears to its shell that is shaped like a football with clipped ends. I have gone through many web sites and have not found anything to help me identify this insect. Can anyone suggest what I might do to next. Thanks, I'm insect curious.

those are parasites of the bathing room monkey. Latin call Orangegishmonkericus, they seek for out a number of, probably popping out of your neighbor's bathing room monkey, or floffing off from one in each of your bathing room monkeys.
