cmon that movie is so overrated.........theres at least 45 minutes of walking in every movie.........
just get to the action already.......all anybody wants to see is the battle scenes.......like Helm's Deep and such..........

oh, I totally agree... and I can't even make myself watch the last half hour of the last one because its all crying and kissing and boohooing and saying good bye... booooooo

Well for one, how do you know there were no black hobbits, dwarves, elves, men, etc? You will find that Tolkien curiously didn't spend much time describing the skin color of the characters. Though to note, the Horadrim were most likely middel-easterners (that is, where the LOTR takes place appears to be Europe, so the Horadrim, who come from the far south, would most likely then be from the Middle East).

me and the only reason i say that is because im from new zealand and thats where they made the movie and i get tired of talking to people and when they ask where im from and i tell them the first thing they say is ooohhhh lord of the ******** rings.... I DONT CARE

me.. not kidding fell asleep in the theater. I mean how long does a movie have to be just so someguy with a sword can stab another dude with a sword. Hey, i went so i could see orlando blooms' asss in tights and they didn't even zoom in can you believe it!
