Why do women always take advice from other women when the question is about men?
For example.....
"What would be a good gift for a man?"
Best answer: "1.) A scarf. 2.) A watch. 3.) Cologne. 4.) A cap. 5.) A tie. 6.) Music.
Us guys answer anything to do with sports, food, movies, or sex (all correct answers by the way) and are completely overlooked.. Hmmph.

Women tend to think alike...naturally, since women like to have gifts that they can keep like momentos (hence the affinity for diamonds and jewels..non perishable, but chocolates are exceptions)
They want their guys to have something to always remeber them buy..sex and sports...although great, only remain in memories...and often private, which is opposite of what women want, they want everyone to know that its their guy and he is thinking of her....
Also they know that things such scarves and watches and colognes are stamps of themselves on their men....besides the fantastic advantage of shopping and buying things that the guy wouldnt buy for himself,,,,even if he really needs it...

Some (certainly not all or even most) women are exceedingly polite. I've known girls who would not ask their male friends simply because they fear they may offend the guy. The guy may think, "Hey, where's my present!" or get jealous or something. Yeah, some girls are very thoughtful people it seems, though to be sure I don't think many guys are like the above.
Maybe they feel closer to other women? Personally, I think you should ask from the person himself (stealthily, without giving away your intent) or someone whom you know is close to him regardless of gender (again, preferably stealthily) I mean, even amongst people of the same gender, tastes vary WIDELY.

It's that some women have been brainwashed into thinking their thoughts and ideas are intelligent and helpful in some cases. And to say what's the best gift? Cash, IMO.

Whenever I have asked a guy what he wanted for a gift, he has always said, "I don't care," or "I don't know." At least other women give me a response! :P

Because we naturally have good taste either way.You love the gifts too.it saves us a lot of time too. imagine if i have to listen to all your non-essentials...and end up not even buying any.

because. how are we going to buy you all that crap? We have no interest in shopping for any of it, and don't know the specific sports movie that you want.
