um use the myspace editor,or you can go find a genrator thing from one of the myspace layouts pages which has a genirator that lets you do what you are trying to do

go to www.tinypic.com and then obtain an internet address for your picture, then go to my space - click on the html option and then put in the URL of your picture as a background
