I am 60+. At this age will I be able to learn Animation?

I have no IT background.But I am interested in trying my hand in Animation.Can some IT guy answer this?

I'm an amimator with 3D animations and yes you can learn it. The first thing is to decide what type of animation interests you. The main types are cell animation (old fasioned drawings and paintings), Computer 2d animations (Flash and gifs as well as javascript etc...), Computer 3D animations (my favorite... Maya, 3DS Cinema 4D... Toy Story type of stuff) and stop motion (claymation, wallace and gromitt, Nightmare Before Christmas).

I teach a college class that is an introduction to animation and absolutely encourage anyone regardless of age to learn all you can about it. It's a great skill and a lot of fun.

One word to the wise: Be prepared to be obsessed.

i am 15 years old and i am a mcp,.mcsa2000,msca2003and mcse2000, well when i wwas 10 years old i did the exams and passed all, at age of 10 well i am still learning tryy this site out www.w3schools.com leanr html and javscript and bla bla all that you will need for animations well i am learning animtion too i know a little and i am sorry i saw some people wrote something realy bad but just report him it will do.HEHE you can still learn it is realuy eeasy

You are silly. Are you a retarded 60+ year old or just 60+? Anyone who is dedicated to a craft can learn! Flash is a great animation program. Lynda.com is a wonderful video tutorial library that has streaming "how to" videos. Stop asking dumb questions...if you want something, go get it. Never doubt your ability, only your commitment. Age will not be a barrier for acquiring knowledge or to acheive something. Just your interest is required. If U have it, then you are done with what you like.

You can easily study about animation and do your own animations. But you cannot expect to work for some companies, coz they would seek for some experience and your age may be a problem. You can do it for your own interest. :)

You dont need an IT person..Go to the bookstore or online animation sites and you can learn it .. Age has nothing to do with it.. just determination.. go for it..
