Haha.. Ever seen the movie "Butterfly Effect?" I would probably go with the not a thing response. The person that you are, your very whole identity, is intimately connected to your memories. Imagine meeting your 'wife' again and trying to court her, only to find that your temporal disturbance has changed her completely. Likewise for your 'enemies'. I think it will boil down to how much you value your current identity. Unless your life is a truly complete hell, I believe that most people will choose as I did, if they realise the full repercussions. A sense of self from memories that did not happen...

On the other hand, some may well wish to go back a week or so, to play the stocks, win the lottery, or maybe just to last night, to convince himself NOT to drink too much!

I would go back to the 50's or early '60's. When high school behavior was just like what you see in the movie "American Graffiti." The automobiles were well built and distinctive, marriages were solid and if they weren't, families had role models on t.v. to give them something to work towards and improve upon (Father Knows Best, Leave it to Beaver, The Donna Reed Show, etc.). People could leave the keys in their cars with the motors running anytime, anywhere and leave their doors unlocked at home. Kids could walk and play outside without fear of abduction. Contrary to the reporting of media liberals (former hippies), there were no drugs in small towns or high schools in the 1950's and drinking was frowned upon. Back then, each large city had it's "beatnik" culture but it wasn't glorified either. Life was awesome then, that was before drugs, left-wing radicals and other problems in the mid 60's put America on it's downward spiral. I feel sorry for the generations that came after me, those who have never seen America when she was at her best! Back then there wasn't anything I would have changed....life was good!

I'd like to go back and just see some of the stupid things I've done but just for a laugh. I wouldn't change anything. I am the total of all the things I've done, good and bad, and all the things that have been done to me. I like me now. I've been through a lot and learned a lot. I 've learned to make better choices. If you change the past, you change the present. No deal.

Bummer- I wanted to go back and get President Kennedy out of the way of his assassination so you ruined it.

I see no point in traveling back if you have no control on world events- to change anything I did in the past is futile since I would not know what the consequences were for the change in my past.

I think I would go back to 1966 and take the advice given to me by Doctor Anton Pegis to go back and finish high school. I didn't because it was a Catholic girl's school and I was trying to get away from religious brainwashing. But now I think it would have saved me from many wrong decisions I made after that.

I would go back to July 15, 1996, I would do anything just to say I love you or hug my brother just one more time. Maybe I wouldn't have talked to him so long in the drive way that day. He was killed an hour after leaving my house. So one more day with my best freind and brother would be where I would like to go.
