I was on a trip with a Greyhound bus and the top tv was out of order but i could hear the movie on the bottom half of the bus. A signifigant part that i remember the most is the end, where the "first" exploreres of mars come across a message and that it said that earth was planted with humans from Mars or vice versa? i cant exactly remember... Can anyone help me with this movie?

The Movie's name Mission To Mars.The theme is that mars was like earth billions of year ago and alieans(who are the actual human beings with slightly different dna) were living there until a lagre metior hit mars.Most of the population died and others moved to other galaxy.the actual mars people put their DNA in rocket and throw it on earth.This Dna then evolved as modren human beings.To know about what happened to their dna on earth they left a human face like dome on mars with a single person.
