after having a fight about me not giving her enuf space, a friend decided that we couldn't be friends anymore about a month ago. we haven't spoken since, other than an email she sent me saying happy b-day a week ago. i replied a day later.

i got the feeling that she wanted to make-up but she hasn't replied back after a week (but i didn't ask her any questions in my reply, i just said have a good time overseas and merry xmas and happy new year) but i'm more worried that i was too enthusiastic in my reply as well, with smilies and exclamation marks and also an email signature about friends...(i didn't mean it for her, it's just sumthing in general, but she's nvr seen it) she might freak out again =/ i'm afraid that i'm cramping her space again.

i dunno... i guess i'm just over reacting... i was just so glad that she greeted me on my b-day and i'm so hopeful for us to make-up and be friends again.

what do you guys think?

Maybe you were just born an enthusiastic person.
If you can tell complete strangers like us this, then you should be able to tell her that you want to be friends again, then promise her and stick to that promise that you'll give them less space. Maybe go bowling or something one night a week, then gradually increase at a steady pace.
