People own alot of gas stations, and food franchises, the punjabi community are well known buyers for these types of businesses, they work hard and very long hours to have the luxury's in life they dont always get in Punjab. The housing is reasonable but for anyone coming from Punjab you have to know someone that can help you get a job to start out in and give you some guidance its very hard for people who do not know anyone,you have to work, pay tax and build credit, without credit you cannot buy such things which require a big investment, it can take many years for people to do this, but in Sacramento there is a lot of Punjabi people and the culture is carried on their........its still very very different from Punjab.
