An exceptional film. From the positive reviews, it would appear that it is in line for a good number of Academy Award nominations.
It's a heartening movie the more so because it is the story of survivors of the World Trade Center. It is a statement about the human spirit and men and women doing their duty at the risk of their lives. If you are asking about the film to decide whether or not to see it,.....yes, definitely.
Here is what just one reviewer said (and I concur) :
"After the Twin Towers fell on September 11, 2001 only 20 people were pulled from the rubble alive. 20 people. Port Authority Police Sergeant John McLoughlin and Officer Will Jimeno were numbers 18 and 19. World Trade Center is their story, told through the eyes of Jimeno, McLoughlin and their families. There’s no political agenda or finger-pointing. World Trade Center is very simply a tale of hope, courage and survival on one of America’s darkest days."
Director and filmmaker Oliver Stone, who usually shows a political agenda in his controversial films, retains a balance and sensitivity here, and lets the drama of the story carry the film, without comment. Commentary isn't needed. It is a better film for that restraint in the case of this story.
Good luck.

there's a documentary approximately 9-11, spoke of as in basic terms "9-11". It got here out style of August 2002. that's some movie team and firefighters that have been surely interior the 1st tower while it started falling.

I liked it. But I thought of it a little on the boring side though. But it shows a different side of people during the attacks. I think you should at least watch it though. Not one I would watch again but I am glad I did.

just watched it a few hours ago actually...
its a decent film and worth watching if you haven't seen it. i think it is a good reminder of what happened on 9/11 - shows the events that took place from a different angle.
