from what I have reed about him, is that he's a drunk and a stoner, and he was given a choice to sober up or quit acting. No director wants to work with him..What a waste of good talent.

hes concentrating on reviving his character for a cheers spinoff. hahah actually he most likley doing other stuff , like family and concentrating on another good role.
