Definitely my answer is an emphatic Yes. A stem cell is a brand new cell created. They are used to be put into a sick person. That cell is used to make new cells for the sick person and they get better.
Stem cells could, in the future, be used to cure cancer and other diseases. The scientists are making still many tests, one of them was as to the animal cells, but found that not all of them are compatible with the human.
As far as I know the best Laboratories, advanced in stem cell are in Russia and Japan.
I knew a few people, who were treated in Russia by putting them a new stem cells, the results are encouraging, though not all of them got cured . The biggest problem is that it is very very expensive and the people, who can take advantage of that is limited.

Have a great day!

Keep in mind that stem cell research does not use embryos. They use Blastocists resulting from artificial inseminations. These blastocists eventually turn into embrios, if left to develop. Also, these are the balstocists no longer needed and are destined to be destroyed anyway. I'm all for it.

Yes, because it has the potential to assist in the cure or prevention of many defects, problems and diseases. I think that it definetly should be researched and studies done to determine how viable this form of treatment is for the good of humanity.

yes, if there is no profit for the donation of embryos, just a donation of embryos that couples in fertility treatments are done with, this research could regrow needed tissues in diseases such as diabetes and spinal cord injuries (regrow brain cells!). and if they can learn to use your own stem cells, you wouldn't reject the organs

Yes, I agree with it for the main purpose of learning and helping others. The things that await discovery through this resarch are far too important to go undiscovered.
