plans to terraform mars already exists. It would take about 100 years to get it to a point where we could live without biodome type things.

Teraforming mars is kinda easy as we can convert the current atmosphere to that of our planet with a system of scrubbers, the same as used in nuclear submarines.

We won't properly travel or terraform any rock in space until we get control of this one. Our economic system is what deters us from this ideal...it must evolve for at least another 75 years before we begin to see that

One cheap way to add an atmosphere would be to nudge comets into the path of the target planet.

Our best resource is our creative souls. We can figure out the way if we think.
