One thing to keep in mind is that Windows Media Player and RealPlayer restrict their ripping speeds (the speed at which it converts tracks to MP3s). In order for you to get full speed out of those players you need to buy a license. Not many people know this and are often under the misconception it is working at full speed.

Windows media player! It will rip it right onto your computer for you in mp3 format. It should already be on your computer or you can download it for free.
