Yes, after too many problems with viruses, namely Trojans, the most dangerous I think that I get rid of them. I use the AVG 7.1 anti-virus edition and can strongly recommend it to you, as well as their new product, the best is that it has a free trial and if you are not satisfied you are not supposed to bye it. You can find it at http://www.grisoft.com. It is extremely compatible with the Zone Alarm firewall. Of course, if you prefer there is AVG edition with a firewall.
Hope that helps!
Have a great day!

My friend uses the virus scanner that At&T provides and has had no trouble with it. But she uses her own firewall, which is zone alarm. The following programs are all free.

These 2 programs are will find out the spy and malware that is hiding on your computer.

This one will erase all cookies and your browsing history. It will also clean out your registry editor and back it up before it deletes the junk left over from un-installing old programs.

This program will shield your computer from over 7000 different forms of spyware and malware from getting on your computer in the first place.

what do you mean online protection??
use an effective anti-virus, anti-malware, or anti-trojan like McAfee, Norton, AVG or Symantec..
if you need real online protection, download updates for antivirus and turn on the internet protection of your computer at the control panel..

Have not use it myself but you're better off with a free firewall like ZoneAlarm, a free antivirus scanner like Avira and a few antispyware apps like SpywareBlaster, Microsoft Window Defender,........
