First you need to know if it is the highbeam or lowbeam bulb. They are in 2 different locations.
Open the hood and behind the headlight assembly is a black or sometimes grey cover, almost the same odd shape as the headlight assembly.
The Highbeam is the larger of the 2.
The lowbeam has a clip and the small center cover removes. The bulb should be held inplace by small metal clips that are just spring loaded and under a small hook.
The Highbeam you have to press the plastic finger and rotate the center cover.
The bulb is held inplace the same as the lowbeam

NEVER TOUCH THE GLASS PORTION OF THE NEW BULB WITH YOUR FINGERS.. the oil off your fingers will cause the bulb to burn out in short order.
If you look at the flat disc between the glass and where the wire attaches you will notice the bulbs only fit in one way.

Reverse procedures to reinstall.

Look in your owners manual towards the rear for headlamp bulb removal for more information.

obviously you are a DIY type of a person. Get your self a service manual from the dealer or ebay and start reading. Or you can go to any Mercedes Benz forum and ask around there.
