nobody is tracking you personally. ISP's keep logs because they are needed in that industry and because federal regulations require them...

Edit:

please disregard the info from kernel sanders. local police have absolutely no authority (or the equipment) to track an individuals Internet use. State and local police have to subpoena (which is granted by the courts) an ISP to get an individuals Internet use and they are not allowed access to the network, everything is given to them on paper...

That Depends,

If you are surfing from Office Sys Admin can track your surfing. Because all your inputs will go via server.

Also if you are sending some mails to other Contries govt. may track your mails.

There are many groups who like to track it
1) Internet marketeers
Who would like to know about your interests so that they can send you targeted ads
2) Government
Would like to know if you are not involved in some sort of anti_Government activity
3) May be some hackers
If you have some money that they can make you to part with.
Or use your identity to do their dirty work.
4) All websites
who like to know who has visited their website, when and how often.
It is sad thing to know that your every click online is stored in one or many places in any one or many of the above places

The F.B.I, the C.I.A..they all track your surfing.Even the county sherriff and city police. And the state patrol also track your surfing.

Everyone, hackers, government, people. They government can track people going to any site they want.

I know if you have a yahoo email and are logged in they can see what sites you have been to if they check your account.

your isp provider does..the sights you visit can track you...and if anyone wanted to they could...it is very hard not to be seen
