When is it proper to stop turning them on?

This may seem weird to many but the practice here in my country is to keep it lighted up to the "Three Kings' Day" or the first Sunday of January.
We are just crazy about the Christmas season and won't let go that easily. :)

We have alway put ours up the day after thankgiving and taken them down the day after new years. I've seen some people that leave them up all year and turn them on for different holidays.

We leave ours on until the first week of the new year.
Jan 6th is celebrated as the day the 3 wise men arrived at the manger.

Certainly, some people leave their lights on for several weeks after christmas.

Why not every one does it, you should really turn them off after Ukrainian Christmas.

heck yea, i still have mine up and i dont end up taking them down until like mid jan lol. i like the christmas season to last a little longer than december because i love it so much!! =)

i think its ok to keep them on after christmas. probably till mid January
