I support capital punishment in select cases but it need not be inhumane. Lethal injection is probably the most painless.

There is a correct way to perform judicial hanging so there must also be a "wrong" way. Go to this site for the skinny.

If done right, hanging can cause near instant death. If done wrong, you will be praying the executioner has a gun because your sufficiate.
Unfortunately, hanging may be less cruel than electrocution or lethal injection.
