Nothing is wrong. My best friend is 15 and she still hasn't gotten it yet. Her doctor told her she is too active, and that's why she hasn't gotten it yet, but he informed her that she'll get it eventually. Are you a gymnast? Gymnasts commonly don't get them. I suggest if you haven't gotten it by the time your 16 to see your physician.

I'm a sophomore in HIGH school and still haven't got it. Don't worry. You have plenty of time to hit puberty/menstruate. Most likely nothing is wrong. You see, I actually do have a problem though and my doctor is putting me on birth control to replace the estrogen hormone. Besides the point...your doctors would have realized through blood tests if your ovaries aren't functioning right. Give it time. Some girls develop late. And it my case, if worse comes to worst, you can get help. Being you're only in JH, I'd say you have PLENTY of time to get it. Most of my good friends didn't get theirs until like the end of 7th or 8th grade, some in 9th

Some people just get their period late I had a friend who didn't get hers until she was a freshman in high school. If you are really scared talk to your mom or an older sister or go to the doctor. Good luck

If you havn't gotten your first period yet, there is nothing to worry about! Every girl gets it at different times. If you havn't gotten it by the age 16, see a doctor. And trust me, when you get it, you're going to wish you could give it back! lol

i didn't have my period till half way through my freshman year in highschool. you shouldn't worry about not having your period until your like 16. if you haven't had it by then , then go to the doctor. all girls are different your probably just a late bloomer. I was.

Don't worry about it..... some girls don't even get them till they are 18. And enjoy it while you don't have it. It gets really annoying. I was really scared before I got it I was afraid of what it would be like...but once I got it it was just normal, nothing changes.

its normal, dont worry.
they say that if you havent got it by 16, THEN you should be worried, and see a doctor.
its ok if youre still young.
the range of ages is from like 8 to 16.
some girls get it realllllyy early, and some reallly late.
dont worry, your time will come.
good luck!

You will be fine. We all lived through it. Look forward to the day when the doctor says you need a hysterectomy. Probably in the next 35 years or so.

I got mine when I was...in the 5th grade, at the beginning of the school year. It started at school. I did not know what it was. Lucky me, it was in 6th period, and @ my school, its the last hour of the day. So, when I went home I asked my mom wtf was wrong w/ me and she told me I've started my period. Nothing is wrong with you. It happened to every girl (or will happen), thanks to Eve. She HAD to eat that damn apple. But anyway, did you talk to your mom about it?
