get ones with a reinforced toe. make sure your toenails are nice and smooth and trimmed. it could be something in your shoe also, so feel around the toe and see if there's anything that it could catch on. if you do get a snag, keep a bottle of clear nail polish handy. 'paint' the snag and it will keep it from geting worse

Buy a better brand of stockings and keep your feet smooth by removing callouses everyday and applying lotion.

Use nail polish (clear) on the starts of holes, last longer.

i know thicker stockings may be ugly but thats what u may need. and u may just need to cut your toe nails
