Planning to go Genting highland on the 3 jan 07 but recently been raining heavily in singapore and malaysia causing flood in a few areas. Was wondering if the flood will affect my trip if i were to travel by bus.

03 Jan 07 is the much better time to visit GH as the long school holiday would be over hence you could have the whole GH on your own, almost !

Flood at Johor i am not very sure but definitely no landslide yet or any sign of it along the road toward GH [ just came back from there last weekend]. If you are going to travel along the NS highway then shouldn't encounter any flood problem getting to GH. Enjoy your holiday !

It's flooded all around Johor. In segamat, kota tinggi, muar and other areas. Furthermore, Genting is prone to mudslides and soil erosion. It's gonna be dangerous. I agree with the rest and my advice is don't take the chance.

More than flood, genting highland way always have landslides when its rains

Hi.
Probably yes,, dont take the chance mate..
Just take the highway & it wont be affected by the flood.
Avoid using normal road to Genting..

well,i would say that the flood will still continue in a few days.so i guess i't not a good idea to go genting at this time..
