I recieved this phone as a christmas gift. It was bought through ebay, it worked great while i was using it on christmas day, but that night it shut off by itself and it won't turn on anymore. What can I do? I have tried everything I can think of. Please help me.

If you tried charging the battery, getting a new battery and neither option works, try taking it to the name on the phone (e.g. Verizon, Cingular, etc.) and see if theres anything they can do about it.
Chances are, you got a dud....Ebay isn't exactly insured, quality stuff.
Good Luck!

Recharge it ? Cell phones automatically turn off when the battery is dead.
Hmmm... Try removing the battery, wait a minute, then replace it. Try turning it back on. If this doesnt work, and you already charged it, then it might need a new battery.
Was it a used phone or brand new, still in the box?
Good luck! :o)

I hope you didnt get scammed....

i had the same problem xmas day aswell... when u try to recharge it does it come up as its charging? if not its not the battery its the phone itself...most phones once on charge should at least show the charging sign...the company i brought my phone from allphones in australia wouldnt replace it, even tho was very next day and with receipt... its now sent to manufacture phone for repairs.. which could take up to 3months thx allphones will b sure to never buy a phone from u again .... anyways lol ... ur best option is to take to who eva made the phone, but as from ebay i doubt it would b under any type of warranty.. goodluck
