after having a fight, a friend decided that we couldn't be friends anymore about a month ago. we haven't spoken since, other than an email she sent me saying happy b-day a week ago. i replied a day later.

i got the feeling that she wanted to make-up but she hasn't replied back after a week (but i didn't ask her any questions in my reply, i just said have a good time overseas and merry xmas and happy new year) but i'm more worried that i was too enthusiastic in my reply as well, with smilies and exclamation marks and also an email signature about friends...(i didn't mean it for her, it's just sumthing in general, but she's nvr seen it) she might freak out again =/

i dunno... i guess i'm just over reacting... i was just so glad that she greeted me on my b-day and i'm so hopeful for us to make-up and be friends again.

what do you guys think?

Don't play games and worry about who is making the move towards reconciliatoin first. That will get you nowhere. It sounds like she means a lot to you, and if she is a good friend, and someone you value in your life you should let her know. She wouldn't have emailed you saying happy birthday if she had no interest in talking to you anymore. Good luck.

If you have to be afraid at what her reaction will be to your being kind and friendly, I don't really think your relationship with her is worth continuing. Anyway, the ball is in her court, if she desires to be friends she will email you back.

What friends dont fight, argue, and stop talking. Continue your emails and soon enough you two will get back on track, if it meet to be.
