What exactly do you mean by wireless internet? Do you mean wireless internet service or do you mean wireless networking using the internet connection you already have?

Wireless ISPs service may depend on your area of residence.

If looking for a wireless networking, you need a wireless router/access point which will connect to your cable or DSL modem and then you will need a wireless card for your PC. Almost all modern laptops already have built-in wireless capability but 9 chances out of 10, you will need to purchase a wireless adapter for your desktop. It could be a PCI card or a USB adapter.

Hope I was able to help you somewhat. If not, hopefully someone else can.

All the best.

If you already have an Internet connection- you just need to buy a wireless router. I suggest linksys router. All you do then is hook up the modem to your router and insert the installer CD and follow all the steps. After that you should be good.

First you need a wifi spot.

And if you're computer has a wifi card, then you can connect to the Internet.
