lol. Good ole Cornelius. Religious zealot, and condemned as a heretic for his teachings and beliefs. Jansen was one of the many overly pious people who hated himself, as all good Catholics do. He believed that in order to be closer to God, one had to be fully aware of the deadly sins, and divine graces. He was picked up in France, and had a minor religious movement. That was until the Jesuits declared war on his way of thinking. Augustinus which was modeled after the philosophy of St. Augustine of hippo, lol, was not really worth the read. Jansenists believe in an extreme level of piety.
