Oh no the Canucks don't need any help...they got Rory Fitzpatrick...he's gonna be at the all-star game! Hahaha what a joke that is. Ya the Canucks gotta do something. They made a big move getting Luongo but so far it hasnt really payed off cause they still need more offense. I dont care what anybody says, Naslund played way better with Bertuzzi then he has been playing lately.

All teams need help. You wrote this two days ago and the Nux just bagged 6 vs. Calgary last night. Considering they outshoot opponents on a regular basis maybe it's just a case of giving the team time to get some chemistry going. You look at the scoring slumps of guys like Burrows and Cooke even Linden and they've all been snapped.

Sure, I'd love for that deal Naslund for Gagne to have gone down as I think Naslund is too much like Wimpden and would prefer he was more Ignila-like. But have patience...maybe the team has finally gotten over the scoring woes. Certainly of late things have been much much better than those dreadful 2-1 games vs. teams like Dallas and Columbus.

Well when they were really good they were mostly a one line team (Naslund/Bertuzzi/Morrison line). The Sedin twins are good but are mostly going to remain second-line players, so the Canucks need to add some top line players (or draft them, but that'll take longer). Also, they lost Jovanowski (I know I probably misspelled that) and that hurts their defense a lot. They have an amazing goalie, but that does nothing for them if they can't defend and can't put the puck in the net. So yes, they need some help. A strong defenseman to replace Jov. and then they need a top line player.

I doubt they'll get either, so don't expect to see them in the playoffs this year.

there year to win it was in 2002 2003 season, with all of their good players, awesome d, but there goalie was no good. Now it has changed. They have an awesome goalie, in my mind bad defense, and a pretty good offense. What i see thats the canucks' biggest problem is that when something is workin well, they through it out. Look at carter and the sedins, then they through carter out, look at malik he was at the top of the league in plus minus one season, what do they do throw him out too. What they need to do is keep whats working for them, and stop relying on people like markus naslund to do things. I also think they need a good hard, gritty, goal scoring captain. A new captain, i think a Jarome iginla like player would be perfect playing with the sedins and captaining the team

I think if we are able to pick up a 25-30 goal scorer soon we can make the playoffs, and as Edmonton showed last year anyone can make the finals.

The Nucks need more than Nazzy and the twins... we should never have lost Carter... argument being any one is good if they play with the twins... well obviously not ... pyatt gets hurt... no one to play with Nazzy... auuurrrrgh... i said at the begining of this year we would be wiped out ... i am sad to say i was right....

I'm really surprised because I had them as the preseason surprise team of the year. But in a way I shouldn't be as I thought that their goalie was a middle of the road type.

they went and got Luongo and his facing as many shots as he did in Florida. Naslund has know one to play with they need to get some forwards they keep talking about Morrison and he ain't doing nothing. the defence is to offencive minded and that's why Luongo is facing to many shots. they got rid of Jovo bad move if you ask me. Luongo is the only one keeping them in the games and winning the games for the team.

They will have Luc Bourdon from next season. This season looks like a write-off.
