Well based on studies recently compiled in the newest issue of Consumer Reports, Verizon Wireless was listed as the number 1 wireless provider, with Cingular coming in a not to distant 2nd.

Your best bet is with Verizon. They have unbeatable service. They are not TOO expensive. And a lot of people have it so you will be able to call people for free within your service.
Cingulars phones are CHEEZY and their service is horrific.
Sprints phones are bad and their customer support is very inconvenient.
T-moble does not have good service just like Cingular, I find them to be a low end provider..... with not many signal towers

I pay $50 a month for unlimited calling to anywhere from anywhere in my state. If I am leaving the state that I live in there are many other states that offer the same plan and I can add that state on to my plan for $5 more a month.

I have Dobson or Celluar One.

This depends on where you live and what your needs are. Believe it or not, there are a lot of variables and what fits me best may not fit you best. Then again, even if there were a free company, if they didn't have service in your area, it would do you no good.

Do some local research.

Verizon..!!! Hands down.. I've tried them all....For coverage almost everywhere, awesome... No one comes near it.. The worst: Cingular, and Sprint - Nextel....(I recently took a trip into the 'boonies'......Verizon still worked......The others.....Dead.!!)
