Try not to focus so much on the "blinking" but rather treat the "nervousness" - begin a practice of meditation before trying anit-anxiety medication though. Yoga, hypnosis, accupuncture, breathe work, prayer, excerise or even a luxurious afternoon spent in a day spa might help . . .

Or try relaxing herbs such as Kava Kava, Valerian, or Hops.

Try closing your eyes. I bet it will be much more difficult to "reverse" blink, or unblink... whats the word? Take deep breath and exhale s.l.o.w.l.y. You should be able to relax a little bit. It's just a nervous tick. I wouldn't worry bout it.

It's eye twitching. It happens when you get tense and your muscles contract. If you take a deep breath and concentrate on relaxing your muscles it will stop. If this happens often you may have some stress inside you need to deal with instead of keeping in.

Nervous system overload.

Just like static in speakers when the sound is too loud.

it is a nrevous reaction--try not to think about it when you're nervous and might not happen.
