Ok first of all, go to your SSA office and get a PRINT OUT of your social security number.

Take the print out and your birth certificate to your local Department of Motor Vehicles office to get a state id. Most DMV's accept the SSA pring out and birth certificate to get the id.

Once you have the id, take the id to the SSA office, and you will be able to get a replacement social security card.

I would start with the birth certificate. I recently had to get a copy of mine, and when I contacted the state I was born (which is very far away from where I live now, so this was all done on the Internet), I needed to know information about where/when I was born, as well as things like my parents' identities (their names, DOB and place, and possibly their SSNs).

If you are younger than 18, you should be able to obtain at least a picture ID from the state if you take the birth certificate and one of your parents with you. The birth certificate will state your parents' names, so bring mom or dad and make sure they have their IDs, as they can serve as your proof of identity. If you are a student, you may have some sort of school ID that can serve as your proof of identity, and that along with the birth certificate will allow you to get a social security card.

If you are an adult - are you employed? If so, does your employer issue any sort of ID card? That can be used as proof of identity (although this all begs the question of how you got employed in the first place with no documentation....).

Just for the record, you should never carry your social security card with you as a matter of course. Let me say that again... NEVER CARRY YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY CARD WITH YOU ON A REGULAR BASIS. There are only a very few occasions that you need it, and for those you can take it out of its safe place and carry it to there (i.e., to the new job). If it's just hanging out in your wallet or purse, and that gets stolen...well, at best you're back at square one, and at worst someone steals your identity and really messes up your life.

Any picture ID will often do, but in the case you lack those documents, sometimes you can get a sworn affidavit as to your identity for a driver's license. Birth Certificates are different- you should be able to call and order an authorized copy. They'll mail that to you. You don't need ID to get it.

Start with birth certificate. This will establish birth, name, and origin. After this everthing else is easy.

Write to the hospital where you were born, or if it is not far County services has an agency that can give you one instantly if you have the proper ID.

My son has his several drivers liscense, multiple times, and each time I can get him a new copy of his birth certificate.

Start with Birth.

In my case it's possible to contact the Cook County office of Registrar and pay a fee and they will mail be a certified copy of my birth certificate. With that I should be able to get a copy of my social security card, as well as apply for a driver's license. Good luck.

face it....you do not exsist. LOL seriously.....that is a very weird situation and one i don't have an answer for. I imagine that the police station could help by running your fingerprints for you as some kind of ID to get a birth certificate? Or....why not have your mom request your birth certificate with her identification?

where I live you do not need any id to obtain birth certificate. You just contact either the health department in the county where you were born or the office of vital statistics. Hope this helps.

Personally, I would try to contact the government in some way. I would ask my parents and look everywhere for my birth certificate, and if that didn't work I would call the police station and talk to them if it got bad enough. Eventually I would have to contact the government somehow, because they run everything and may be able to help me.

First, you must be a legal alien, if you are not, there is no need to look for legal means to get what you wanted.
Second, if you are not legal, you must first to find some one and get a marry status to a US citizen. After that, all will be easy.
Thirdly, if you want to be a US citizen, you can apply to join US arm forces. They are accepting non-US citizens now.
