Go to Start>Control Panel>Windows Updates. There ypu will have 4 options. The updates don't actually save to a folder you can really access. Depending how you set up updates they will install that way. IE 7 has given alo of people problems. You might wait before downloading it.

It's installed here >Start>Control Panel>Add or Remove Programs
If you follow that as I gave it to you, you'll find the updates there. Always click on the install icon on the lower right. The updates keep your computer safe. Very important!!

I actually have a a table good and a working laptop or workstation. the two are slightly older than a 365 days previous, the two have XP professional. Explorer 7 works fantastic on them. yet some human beings older structures applying XP have pronounced problems with the recent version. in case you may opt to attempt a browser with very comparable constructive properties as Explorer 7 attempt Firefox.

You should click on the icon and it will install it for you. You will have to restart your computer and Internet Explorer 7 will take the place of the old Internet Explorer 6 icon. Sorry if I answer this question wrong, I couldn't really understand you.

Sorry, I couldn't understand your question properly. If you mean to ask that you don't want that balloon eating you head, go to Start > Control Panel > Automatic Updates > Turn off Automatic Updates.
But if you do so, then the Security Center will start badgering you to turn it on. In order to stop that, open Security Center, click on 'Change the way Security Center warns me' and untick the box next to 'Warn me when Auto updates is turned off'. That will do.
Remember to manually check for updates once every month from the Microsoft website, if you keep your AutoUpdates turned off.

Look before you download IE7( Internet Explorer 7) Switch to high speed Internet. I used to have Dial-up and I used it to download IE7...........IT TOOK THREE $@#%&*! HOURS TO DOWNLOAD IT. Then my dad saw a great high speed offer and took it. Now we have comcast. Just for the heck of it I un-installed IE7 and reinstalled it ...... it took me 15 minutes. :) :) :)
If you want to stay with dial-up and try to install IE7 ... Good luck
Heres how to do it.
1) Unistall/Delete all of IE7 that's currently on your computer.
2) Go to this web site to update your computer and get other goodies.
http://update.microsoft.com/windowsupdate/v6/default.aspx?ln=en-us
BEFORE ALL OF THIS DO YOURSELF AND ANYONE ELSE USING YOUR COMPUTER A FAVOR AND SWITCH TO HIGHSPEED INTERNET (Perferably Comcast)
