How can i play dvd's on ps2?

turn on the ps2 and pop in a DVD

is your ps2 used, and not letting you get anywhere, and demanding a password that you don't know?

if so, don't push anything. in fact, look away from the TV and push the following

SELECT, left, left, left, X, left, left, left, X, X, X - now look at your tv.

what you did was you pushed Select first, and then 7-4-4-4 (and your ps2 is asking for a new password)

give the ps2 a new password (i recommend 0-0-0-0) and then you can watch the movie now - don't push anything until it gets to the main DVD menu, then put the arrow on play or whatever, and push X (X always means "yes, this one")
