I thought that my friend being mangled in an operation and being forced to live the rest of his life in a wheelchair was the worst that could happen. Two months ago, he found out his 7 year old son has leukemia. The worst that could happen? Our brains can't even fathom the worst that could happen. I don't even want to think about it.
