do you think its weird, or unneccisary to give your lover presents on half year- or year anniversaires?
i usually make my lover just one special gift on half year and year anniversaries...
he appreciates it lots - but i never get one in return. (well not on half years)
would you guys apreciate it on half year and year anniversaires or is it just a waste of time? id love to get lots of presents from the heart.

Waste of time.

Show them you're thinking of them thru the year, and skip the fabricated biggies.

Unless you are in the 13-17 year-old age range, the half year anniversary celebrations are a mute point, especially if you've been together for over a year. Men don't typically put as much importance on anniversaries as women do. If he hasn't done it yet, he probably won't. I think it is much more important that he shows you that he cares throughout the year and not just on those two calendar dates. If he is caring, loving, and supportive the whole year through, I wouldn't be too concerned about half year anniversary gifts.
