I have seen a couple of posting about the NHL Network. Is this the NHL On Ice pay pakage that is being mentioned or something else altogether?

There is an NHL Network in Canada, but I dont think its available in the USA anywhere. Center Ice is only games.

It's probably the center ice package on directTV - I doubt the NHL has the muscle, funds, and backing to launch their own network like the NFL did. Even VS. channel is rather weak in it's circulation at the time unfortunately.
