Yes, he was a man who saved a nation, although his pardoning of Nixon was very conterversial had he allowed the prosecution to continue this nation would have plumeted into a civil war. While doing so cost him his political ambitions, after retiring from Politics he did many charatable things, the mst noted is the Betty Ford Clinic.

Yes, he was a fine President and a great man that is one of the model Presidents of the future should follow.

He made his mark on the Presidency and our nation despite being the only President that wasn't elected to the office, only serving 2 and a half years in office, and being one of the 1st Presidents to be subjected to the constant criticism of the press.

God bless him for his honorable duty to the American people.

Yes, because he was an American and a president. No matter the party, or decisions we need to pray for the family through this difficult time for them.

You mean the man who brought us Rumsfeld, Cheney, and Bolton?
Actually, he probably did the least damage of any recent president, and he made Chevy Chase famous. The actor, not the city.

What dumbass said he's in hell now? Turn off your computer and hurry to the TV,I think Jim Baker, Benny Hinn, Pat Robertson, and Jimmy Swaggert are having a mass revival and offering, don't forget your credit card!

Yes, I think we can. He was an honest man whose highest goal was to become speaker of the House. Fate thrust him to a higher role. He did the best he could with the circumstances that he had.
