she was very controlling, yelled at me, said i wasnt a good friend anymore bc i was hanging out with my new bf more than her, she wasnt happy for me bc a guy was interested in me for once, even tho she has had many bfs.
her bf ended up yelling at me saying what a horrible friend i was to her and so i ended the relationship. i have given her 3 or so chances to redeem herself and be a better friend, but it failed.
i havent talked to her in like a year, and i miss her but i know i shouldnt start the relationship over again bc it will be a mess again.
have any of u ever gone thru something like this?

This is the same sort of thing I went thru!!!!!!!!
My bestfriend and I have been friends for 10+ years and she always had me as a sidekick thru everything that happened in her life and she always had boyfriends and a "love life" I enjoyed my single life and she pretty much controlled our friendship....
When I got into a serious relationship with my bf at the time she got REALLY jealous because I was spending a lot of time with him and that's just what it is...your friend wanted you all to herself and didn't want you with anyone else with her...it's selfish and ridiculous but when you are friends for a while that's what could happen...
Now my friend has a child and is even more jealous because now that we are at the age of adulthood and can do so much more as young single women she has to stay home and watch her son...
You have to move on...I have...Friends/boyfriends come and go..make sure that you have your life together :: your feelings come before any and every one

Yeah, I have had experiences similar to this. If your ex-friend could walk out on your friendship over something like that, then it is best if you do not try and be friends with her again. You have given her several chances to forgive and forget, if she hasn't taken advantage of those chances by now, she probably never will. Sounds like your frienddship with her was becoming toxic anyway. It's hard to lose someone you who was once your friend, but sometimes it's for the best.

People like your best friend are the same people that got Man kicked out of Eden, the people who hurt their brothers, and the people responsible for human conflict in general. I know it's on a lesser level, but when one is filled with Jealousy so exclusively, one must ask what type of benefit one would have by repairing the bonds.
And I highly disagree with having more than one or two best friends. Your best friend is one who you share meaning with, one who is always there, always understanding, and always sincere.
And in regard to human conflict, you would be giving her all the power to do whatever she would want, as you would be the one coming to repair the bond, not her.

Yes. If you really care for her and she is good for you then you should open your heart, forgive and forget the past and ask her back into your life with open arms. If she consistently made you feel bad about yourself then the relationship is better off ended.

she n her bf have given u enuf messy stuff, do u like being in mess??? its ok, move on girl, cos every human being is diff, u deserve a much better handling than this. Friends do not attack their closed ones.

dont say things like " i gave her the change to redeem herself"... maybe you are the one who was a bad friend too....
just call her and try to start things over with no expectations, and dont talk about the past or re-hash it just forget the past....

i am goin through it right now....she is mean to me all the time but she is my BESTEST FRIEND EVER! idk what i would do with out her!!! i would miss her if we ended our friendship! she is kidding when she is mean to me but sometimes i think she is serious! and she always gets all the guys and i am stuck bein the friend......and this is the second time it has happened to me that she took the guy that i liked!! this is the 2nd time!woah i am WAY off subject LOL! just give ur friend one more chance i guess then just see how it goes! idk!
