I am not the one who is pregnant

Hmmm. I've only seen this happen about four times. So I would say that it happens...but it's not common. Most girls that are single and pregnant tend to stay single until after the birth, and they've lost the weight.
So out of probably 100 girls that are pregnant and single, only about 2% will find boyfriends *while* they are still pregnant...

My cousin met a guy when she was a couple months along. He kept pursuing her even though she told him he was pregnant. He ended up being really supportive and a great boyfriend to her until it came time for her to do Lamaz and birthing classes, then he wanted no part it in. He was even absent when she gave birth. He disappeared for awhile and came back to her when the baby was a few months old. Then they broke up again after that.

I think it just depends on the guy. I guess the moral of my story is the guy could seem like the best thing that ever happened to ya and then disappear when things get hard, but you never know. They're not all that bad.

I can only say from experience that when I was pregnant, and married, I had more guys hit on me than usual. Men would mostly say how beautiful pregnant women are, so I'm sure it isn't hard to find someone very special. Any guy can make a baby but it takes a man to be a father.

My best friend met her husband when she was pregnant. Her then boyfriend wanted nothing to do with her, because she would not abort the pregnancy. So, she was single by about 2 months and pregnant when her now husband asked her on a date. She told him no and then explained why. He continued to ask her (they worked together). They are now married and have had 3 more children together. Their oldest is 15. :-) He adopted her after they were married.

However, I would say that this is not common.

I don't know but men were constantly asking me out when I was pregnant especially the first pregnancy (I was young). It was weird!

I have to admit I always looked great pregnant, I was one of those "glowing" moms with thick shiny hair and clear skin who looked cute. But still I never got why men would want a pregnant woman if he wasn't the father?

I am pregnant and with a man who is not the father of my baby..

It takes a GOOD man to take on that responsibility.. and I guess it's pretty common assuming the prego woman is not with the father.. I'm sure she'd date someone else. I am.

I would imagine it depends on the person. I'm expecting my first child and continued dating throughout my pregnancy. I ended up dating a friend from highschool and I found out I was not his first pregnant girlfriend.

I am not sure if it is common, but I am sure it happens. If the man's intentions are honorable I don't see how it is tacky or wrong, but if it were me in that situation I would want to be sure the man understood that we (mum and baby) are a package.
