Well my religion is a little rusty, doesn't the Christian bible say somewhere that their god expects them to obey their governments laws? Since morals go hand in hand with religion, if I am correct, would it make it immoral not to to obey the law?

So everyone has pretty much said no. I wonder then, why more people don't take a stand (PEACEFULLY) against our government in an effort to eleviate the injustice that is constantly imposed on us? Especially with recent laws that have been passed to take away more of our freedom.

BTW, did you know that in our country, we have the highest population of detained or imprisoned men and women out of any country in the history of the world? Also over 50% of them are non-violent victimless offenders.

No,the original definition of crime was (to commit an immoral act against one fellow man) Now basically the government is committing a crime against our citizens by passing unconstitutional laws that victimize and imprison people for offenses where no person or property was damaged .Would you call it an immoral act to put some one in prison and take all their money and possessions who has hurt no one or damaged any one property .That is a crime

No, not everything that is illegal is immoral, and to complicate things, what I might find immoral may be different than what you find immoral. For example, it's illegal to park in a fire lane but I don't think that is immoral, only inconsiderate. It's also illegal to walk down the street with an open beer but I don't find that immoral either.

In the 1820's it was illegal to help a run away slave. In the 1960's it was illegal for a black person to go to a white school. Laws are sometimes themselves immoral.

not necessarily. do you think interracial marriage is wrong? that was illegal until a few years ago in some states...
What about civil rights? Remember Jim Crow Laws?
the law can be wrong. unjust laws do not deserve to be followed.
