It is an interesting question posed by a show presently airing on The History Channel. There are some remote but possible senerios such as a black hole passing by the solar system. Astromers could calculate the hour of our planet's demise.

I would live life to the fullest. I would party and have tons on sex. no need to worry about the AIDS virus because it takes longer then 10 years to kill you. I would live life up.

I would live my life no differently. I believe that the end can actually happen at any time, so why bank on ten more years? As far as I can tell it can end in ten more minutes for many. Even if there were a black hole going to swallow our planet in ten years, do you really believe that there aren't hundreds of people researching how to change the course of our planet or that black hole? I'm sorry but the end cannot honestly be foretold.

Just let it slip out that the world is going to end ten years from ---let's see ---ten minutes ago---so, damn !!
Tomorrow I am going to retire
cash in my CD's (not my compact discs by the way)
And start traveling to see all the places that I haven't been to yet-- hell-- I might even go visit a war zone or two---I mean -- if it's all going to vaporize in ten years (minus twelve minutes) from now--what's the risk---right ??---
Also, tomorrow, I'll start considering all the other things I need to get into the next ten years ( minus thirteen minutes) and make a list---and-----DANG -----WHAT AM I WASTING TIME FOR ANSWERING THIS QUESTION FOR--- TIME IS CLICKING AWAY AND HERE I AM TYPING A STRING OF NONSENSE ON A WEBSITE--------SEE YA ------ON THE OTHER SIDE ---IN TEN YEARS (minus fourteen minutes ) !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah yeah, this has been predicted by many seers and prognosticators a long time ago. Even the esteemed Edgar Cayce had an exact date too.
If it is a global catacysmic event, we really do not have much choice but to live whatever is left of our lives..

Have my ticket ready to ride on the Glory Train. Believe it or not, there really are people that, myself included, would pray that it didn't happen, so those that are not prepared would have time to get ready. But what's really interesting is that anyone of us reading this question could die tomorrow in a auto accident or from a illness. Have your ticket ready, no ticket, no train ride.

I wouldn't do a lot different because these people with predictions, science and medical conclusions usually find out they are wrong.
