It was certainly different, and if you are looking for a visual representation of the book, you will be quite disappointed. I loved the book and had just finished it when I saw the movie. If I hadn't read the book, the movie is fast paced, beautifully filmed, and is full of action. It won't work well into the sequel though. There were too many changes to do Elder.

i be attentive to good? i flow to work out Percy Jackson the next day (i wish). i wish this is not too undesirable. The previews regarded ok. this happens with each and every action picture they make off a e book, in spite of the incontrovertible fact that this is nonetheless stressful. No Clarisse????? Oh no! this is unhappy D: i think of the Eragon action picture would have been okay to somebody who did not examine the e book, yet to me? It sucked. I mean, Brom died by using the Ra'zac! not Durza! And Arya? interior the action picture, she's like completely interested in Eragon. what's with that? this is between the excuses i like RockyGemsCarly. She's making Eragon into an lively thingy on youtube :D i such as you Rocky! Oh and Inkheart wasn't good. i presumed Harry Potter replaced into good nonetheless....

No the book is one of the best I've read but its one of those movies that they take almost every good part of the book out. I wouldn't recommend it if you have read the book. If you haven't read the book then it's probably a good choice to watch it.

The movie skipped a lot of parts found in the book. It was too streamlined down. I prefered the book over the movie.

i read the book and just saw the movie. the movie helped with seeing how some events happened, but they changed some of it. most of the book is about how eragon and brom r traveling, and eragon learns swordplay, but then the movie would take 5 boring hours. but i didn't like how the last fight w/ durza happened, like i dont remember the black magic dragon! and how when saphira was first growing up, she was finally flying, then she suddenly got bigger. wats up wit dat?
and wat happened to solembum the werecat? and the twins? hello? and how the dwarves have to read eragon and murtagh's minds?
but i still like the movie. thrilling.
