Her real name is Destiny Hope Cyrus. Not miley. Miley came from her nickname smiley because when she was a toddler she wouldnt stop smiling.

Well, Destiny Hope Cyrus or Miley Cyrus (also known as Smiley (her nickname) originally auditioned for the role of LILLY TRUSCOTT (Hannah Montana's best friend and is in disguise as Lola).. When she was asked to try the role of Hannah Montana, she was rejected because she was "too small" and "too young". But her agent called that if she will pay for her own flight back to LA and audition again... after being rejected for 2 times, she is now Miley Stewart or Hannah Montana
Her birthday is November 23, 1992 which makes her 14 as of now.
Back home in Tennessee, Miley have 7 horses, 3 dogs, and 2 cats as a pet.
She writes her own songs and has even recorded them with her friends.

Yes her father is Billy Ray Cirus but he is also her manager. Miley used to be so antsy and alot of the time she still is but she is breaking thorugh that wall of insecurities and nervousness. actually.. her real name isnt miley.. its destiney.. destiney hope cyrus... shes called miley in real life tho, b/c she has a vwyr big smiel and her dad called her smiles wen she was lil which then went over to smiley and then miley.. so mileys a nick name. she also has a lil sister and i think a bro.. and her dad in hannah montana is her dad in real life who has a record deal and is a popular country singer.. supposedly lol. i kno al this cuz my lil cusin is liek a hannah montana trivia freak!! lol so she quizzes me lol.. ya so her birthdays at the end of november and she tuned 13 i think.. either 13 or 14 im not too sure. and ya..lol.. wow im scarring myself.. well hope this helps
