This happens to me all the time. People I haven't seen in years will ask if I remember something that happened while I was around and I don't remember it. I'm lucky to remember where I sit my coffee cup down in the morning.

absolutly, i do it all the time. we usually forget things if it doesn't reside on our first priority list. and sometime we just have so many things to remember that our brain just overloads. we try not to but it happens. just do you best to remember the second time around, learn from your mistakes.
