We have been married for 12 years now & suddenly she has become pregnant I know it isnt mine because i had the opperation a few years before we got married, she always said she never wanted kids before so it wasnt a problem

Well if you had a vasectomy and she is pregnant then obveosuly she cheated on you. If she doesn't have the balls to come clean then she isn't worth your time. You don't have kids together so move on and let her raise her new baby with whomever the daddy is....assuming she even knows.

Something like this happened to a friend of my brother a few years back. He also had a vasectomy, he even had himself tested to make sure he was sterile.
Then out of the blue his wife got pregnant again. He went of the deep end and accused his wife of cheating on him. It nearly broke up there marriage. He refused to believe her. That she had not been cheating on him.
He wouldn't believe her until they had a DNA test on there baby. The results came back and it was his child. What they think happened was when he was playing back yard cricket, he got hit in the you know whats and fell to the ground in pain. It was at that moment they think a live sperm jumped the gap and got into his semen. Soon after that they had sex now they have a baby boy.
Wait till you have your child then have it tested then. Don't let this ruin your marriage in case the same thing has happened to you.

Sounds to me like the truth is already out.Just so everyone is in the clear (especially you) go get tested.Go to a urologist and give a sperm sample.Within a couple of hours you will know if you are fertile or not.What happens after that is up to you.My opinion but if you are not fertile I would play kick ball with her ass and move her on down the road.

It's not yours! After 12 years 'suddenly' the operation was a failure. Has she 'suddenly' been at work late, out with her girlfriends more, etc? She must think you are a total idiot if she thinks that you will believe it is yours. Not only does she have no respect for you, but she takes you for a total idiot as well.

You may want to get yourself checked out...vasectomies have been known to reverse themselves...My parents found out when my daughter the "little vasectomy" came along. My father had been "snipped" a year prior to my mom getting pregnant with her...and yeah she was my father's offspring...she looks EXACTALY like him so there was no question about it.

maybe perhaps kinds she is telling the truth.....
but then there is a chance she isnt...
only you and her can work this out....
just tread carefully cause I know what it is like to be a faithful wife accused of sleeping around.... that is very dangerous ground for a man to be walking on....

This happened to a co worker and guess what ... the baby was his ... he went to his doc to donate and he said "yep, you have swimmers!" So much for shooting blanks. Becareful the baby may be yours. But if your wife cheated ... she is not worth it. Don't stay for the baby, it never works out ..... and you deserve better. There is a perfect match for you out there ..... if she doesn't happen to be it. g'luck

as your first ans states it can become undone over time and if you find its still intact so to speak

my friend had the operation too...and now him and his wife have 4 year old. they fought about it when she got pregnant, and did DNA tests, but the child is his. so it doesnt always work out
