I'm fascinated to see if any one thing of the millions (excluding food and beverage) is still made in the United States and sold at Wal-Mart.

I've bought loads of stuff made in Quebec from Wal-Mart, and Wal-Mart is trying to bring in more. Sure, there are lots of things made in China, but look everywhere---practically everything is made in China, it's basically all the same from one store to another. It's just that people like to go against anything that has some sort of power--whether it be retail,a country, etc..but in the end, if you don't buy it at Wal-Mart, you'll probably end up buying it elsewhere for more $$$ and finally, from China.

First some of the answers are just stupid here. Second Yes they do sell things made in the USA....But The biggest reason things mare made out side here are that We As Americans Take no pride in our manufacturing. We want More money to do less work.. our cars for example...are crap....The worst warranty in the world..Why is that?? A Honda isn't even broken in till it has 100000 miles on it....The clothes that are made here...I bought 5 shirts here..like 50.00 ones and in a week I had to have the buttons all sewed back on...so now I by my clothes in Korea...The Asians did not steal anything...They made it better...because they have pride!!! And we helped them and are still helping them...We have Greed..I could comment on this for hours ...I have been in Asian nations a lot and lived there too...You have no Idea how much I and allot of others respect them!

yeah, i've gotten a few things from wal*mart that were made in America, couple of teddy bears, vaccuum cleaner random stuff like that, the reason why there's not a lot of stuff from places other than china is because they are one of our biggest sources, and one of the smartest countries in the world so the stuff they make tends to be the best.

Yes i will agree it is not good that this nations top retailer has taken the manufactoring to other countries like china. Yeat it was fortold. This nations once served GOD and honored him greatly. But for the last 40 plus years this nation has been making a new path one in which God has been rejected and you are seeing the results in companies like Wal-Mart. God declared that for the nation that rejects him he will give there wealth to another nation that is what is happening in chine right now. God declared he would give there land to another people and that is what is happening with the mexians. God is not the cause of the reduction of manufactoring in this nation. We the people are for not standing up against the lack of morals in our government. And for not remembering GOD as a nation. This nation and God are on a direct collision course and he will win. With in 10 years american will suffer one of the greatest meltdowns of all modern time. Of course people will just blame the leader who by them will have robbed every American and moved to Europe to retire on your money. Then you the nation return to God no they will starve and die our as a world power to become a 3rd world nation, we are not far from that time.

Well, if you read through the questions posted in Yahoo Answers you will find many people asking for FREE things or CHEAP things.

Chinese goods are cheap, so take your pick -- cheap Chinese stuff or expensive American stuff. I think most will go for "cheap".
