Just curious if this is going on in other houses. Since a copy entered my home on Christmas someone is fighting to play it. It's pretty addictive.

Yah, this guy.

Do you see this Detroit Tiger in the picture trying to deliver a curve ball? He is known to be quite a gamer, a Guitar Hero enthusiasts to
be exact. Moreover, because of his favorite game he has been benched for three games.

Free Press Sports has the story, revealing that Joel Zumaya of baseball team Detroit Tigers has been overplaying the PlayStation 2 game, Guitar Hero, which has caused him a slight inflammation of his right wrist and forearm. You probably know that Guitar Hero comes with a guitar-shaped controller resembling a Gibson SG, which you can use to play some of your favorite songs.

Looks like Joel Zumaya overdosed on Red Hot chili Peppers, David Bowie and Ozzy Osborne. Because of his video game “addiction”, Zumaya has been sidelined for three games on the American League Championship Series. The team’s management asked the player to stop his Guitar Hero madness and he complied without making any faces.

Imagine the entire Detroit Tigers team playing Wii games using the Wiimote. That would be something interesting to watch. Why doesn't a TV channel do a special report like this? They get the entire team in a big luxurious mansion, add a couple or Wii and Wiimotes to the mix, and leave them alone for a few hours. What would happen? Would they succeed in demolishing the whole place?

Some less strong individuals have managed. Remember that guy who trashed his entire place with the Wiimote? I bet he was no athlete…
