After the abuse he has taken, I would not blame the President if he did resign.
What a mess we'd have then.
No, he should not resign.

People that post these types of questions never do explain why they think Bush should resign or be impeached.
He has done nothing wrong so why would he resign?
He has done nothing that is impeachable, so why do people assume there should be impeachment?
This kind of posts does nothing for our country, nor does anything for either party. The only people it helps is our enemies. I guess maybe that's some people's goals.
Bush will be out of office in 2 years, and the people that have dedicated their whole life to hating and bashing him will have no life.
The person suitable for the position? The person that WE the people elect in 2008.
America is great!!

To the poster above me, Clinton WAS impeached. And if Clinton could be impeached for getting a b.j., then this whole administration should be impeached, put on trial, and convicted of war crimes. He lied to us to get us involved with an unnecessary war that led to the murder of innocent Americans in Iraq. Bush, Cheny and the whole administration should resign.
For the question on who to replace him? Well, if we follow the Consitution, then it would be Nancy Pelosi. I won't comment on whether she is suitable or not for the position.
For the other person above me, about what type of message this sends to the terrorists. They will see us upholding our laws and our Constitution and the fact that we will not allow our president to commit war crimes. They will see the best of the Constitution and Democracy at work.

I often wonder if people who ask questions such as this one have ever considered or thought about what kind of message it sends to the Islamic terrorists.
Absolutely not, GWBush should not even consider resigning.
In answer to the second part of your question - we'll find out in 2008.

Why don't you liberals get over it... he the president and nothing you say can change that!
Why was Clinton not impeached for his sins? not to mention my commentary that he was the worst president in history right up there with Nixon and Carter...
